Glenview Real Estate

Glenview is located approximately 18 miles north of Chicago and is accessible by both car (about 45 minutes) and the Metra train system (there are two stations in the village).

Glenview has a number of excellent public and private elementary, junior, and high schools, including Maine East, Glenbrook Sorth, and New Trier. It was home to the Glenview Naval Air Station until 1995, when it was close and the land was deeded back to the village. Today the 1,000+ acres of “The Glen” contains homes, offices, shops, walking and biking trails.

Glenview’s most famous landmark is “The Grove,” an area of 123 acres that contains historic buildings and nature trails. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1976, The Grove is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
