Logan Square Real Estate
Logan Square, named after Congressman and Civil War General John Logan, is an architecturally diverse community area, with an antiquated town square in its center. Logan Square’s large boulevards showcase historic greystone mansions while inner streets feature condo’s, and single family homes. The community of Logan Square is bordered by Diversey to the North, Armitage to the South, the Chicago River to the East, and the Metra/Milwaukee line to the West. Its town square, which surrounds the Illinois Centennial Memorial, is found at the intersection of Logan Boulevard, Milwaukee Avenue, and Kedzie Boulevard.
Nightlife….. Fireside Bowl located at Fullerton and California (off the Blue Line California Stop) is a live music venue featuring Rock and Punk shows, plus a full scale bar and plenty of bowling lanes for your enjoyment.
The Logan Square Auditorium on the 2500 block of Kedzie has been a focal point for up and coming artists for years. There are always new acts and performances are almost nightly.
Enjoy a light jog, or take the dog for a walk at the Illinois Centennial Memorial. A 70 foot-tall Doric Column gives a beautiful dissertation of Illinois’ history through ambient sculptures.
