The Saint Ben’s Neighborhood Garden Walk
A benefit for the Common Pantry, the oldest continuously operating food pantry in Chicago, this self-guided tour gives visitors the opportunity to stroll through any of the community gardens on the map. Visitors are encouraged to vote and a Small Garden award winner is chosen every year.
Summer Concert Series in the Town Square
From The Hoyle Brothers country and western music to Alfonso Ponticelli & Swing Gitan Gypsy Jazz, almost any style of music is available at this yearly street festival.
WineFest Chicago
One of the most popular festivals of the year, this event features some of the best samples of foods, cheeses, wines, chocolates, and more from area restaurants. With educational exhibits about wine and tasting sessions, people that attend WineFest Chicago learn how to taste, judge, serve, and offer wine as a gift.
