Chopin Theatre

Entering its 17^th year, The Chopin Theatre has presented thousands of theater performances, concerts, poetry events and films. Many well-known presenters have frequented the Chopin Theatre, including Teatro Vista, Roadworks Productions, Collaboraction, Young Chicago Authors, and many more. The theatre has produced over 100 productions of its own, and has welcomed many well-known performers from all over the world to its stage.

Chicago Dramatists

This professional theatre is committed to furthering the careers of young playwrights and establishing a space for the performance of new works, as well as nurturing the understanding of current theatrical repertoire among audiences. By providing a venue for both new and established playwrights and allowing audiences to participate in critiques of their plays and their performances, the Chicago Dramatists has become one of the best-liked theatrical venues in Wicker Park.

For an evening out on the town, consider one of the local bars or nightclubs. Wicker Park has a widely varied collection of venues for music and dance, as well as food and drinks. While Chicago in general has a very rich music culture, complete with blues, jazz, and soul music, Wicker Park is no exception.
